Second Rule of HMBA Taking Action

———————-
Freedom Lifestyle News

Simon Sinek presents a simple but powerful model for how leaders inspire action, starting with a golden circle and the question “Why?” His examples include Apple, Martin Luther King, and the Wright brothers — and as a counterpoint Tivo, which (until a recent court victory that tripled its stock price) appeared to be struggling.

Crowdfunding

Do you need Capital for your business?
On Saturday I celebrated my birthday (even though my birthday is actually today:) at Radio Bar in London. My first business partner and also the person that got me started in business was there and he was telling me all about how he has used Kickstarter to raise £ 27,000 pounds (that´s $42,000) in just a few days. His new project is really cool! It´s called Jackfish Survival. Click here to check out the project.

Crowdfunding is nothing new, but there are certain ways that work for raising a lot of money quickly. Would you be interested in a webinar on how to raise funds through crowdfunding?
If YES then please reply to this email and I will make it happen.

I really like the Jackfish product and have backed the project!
To do the same click on the image above or simply here.

There are lots of different platforms you can use for crowdfunding:
Kickstarter
Indigogo
GoFundMe

To check out the top 10 based on traffic click here.

Whatever platform you choose remember to read the guidelines properly and make sure that your product or idea fits well with the platform.

I can also recommend watching a documentary called Capital C that gives you an introduction into the world of crowdfunding.

Here is a snapshot of my celebratory face on Saturday :)

On my birthday I always take the day off and spoil myself. I love birthdays! Other things I have done today: eat breakfast at my favorite restaurant with friends, workout session, massage, buying things I want, lunch at the East India Club and now it´s time for dinner with girlfriend. Amazing :)

With that i want to wish you a great day!

Movies for Entrepreneurs

Need something to watch this weekend?
Here is my list of top 10 movies for entrepreneurs.

Our brain needs to relax and process ideas for you to come up with the best solution to your challenges. I have compiled a list of films that are business related in one way or the other so your entrepreneurial brain can keep on working in the background. We have also compiled a list of documentaries we think are highly relevant to watch. I will send the top 10 documentaries to watch next week.

10. Boiler Room
The film is based on The Wolf of Wall Streets (Jordan Belfort) cunning way of selling petty stocks to rich people.

2. The Bucket List (2007)
There is something about beginning with the end in mind. Have you made a list of the things you want to do before you die? Are you living each day as it was your last and dreaming like you would live forever? Maybe after seeing this film you will sit down and write your “bucket list” just like I did?

Delegate Or Drown

Workation complete!
A customer asked Regina; “What happens when Erlend is away?”
Regina: “It does not really matter because we run the day to day business. He is doing his job when he is away because he always comes back with ideas and thoughts around how we can improve the business and make you more happy.”

The master of making that happen is Richard Branson himself clearly explains that it´s either delegate or drown to make it as an entrepreneur.

Check out the interview with me below to learn how I also use the same philosophy to run my 3 companies.

Keeping Faith

I just arrived in the Norwegian mountains for a 14 day stretch of holiday. Not a workation, a holiday! A workation is when you travel to a destination you always have wanted to go and do some business and holiday at the same time. Workation! It´s also a 50% tax saving because you can expense the trip on your company! This is one of the many benefits of owning a corporation. The benefit of building a team is that I know that I can relax, enjoy my time away and make the same amount of money as if I was working. That´s what I call the power of TEAM.

I just came back from a swim in quite cold water (hence the wetsuit 3-6 degrees). For the first time in my life I swam across the lake at our cabin. All my life I have been told that “I must never cross the lake without the support of a boat.” I crossed the lake, but was not fit enough to swim all the way back! This left me stranded on the others side and had to hitch a ride back! (The picture is of me before I started swimming!)

Erlend_Faith Have you ever taken on to much and felt utterly exhausted? Let´s just say I was not properly prepared for the swim and I thought I would make it with no problems.
I find that this is what happens with most entrepreneurs and that´s why I´m working on my Hardcore MBA program while I´m here. I want to create a program for entrepreneurs that trains our body, mind and soul so we are ready to take on the challenges that come in business and life.

Opportunity and fortune favors the prepared!
I´m creating the course that I wish I had access to 8 years ago and it´s coming along nicely! For now I encourage you to listen to this interview with Ex. Navy Seal Brandon Webb

Stress

Summer is here! Nice
London summer for me!
What is your summer project this year?
I´m working on my next book and training program:)

Have you ever thought about the upside of stress?
I have always thought that stress = heart disease, cancer and other bad things, but this is not correct?
How stress manifests in your body depends on your belief about stress!
Here are some of the benefits of stress;
The Stress Response Helps You Rise to the Challenge, Connect with Others, and Learn and Grow.
Mindset is everything as an entrepreneur and how we view the world physically manifests in the world also.

Another important point to add is: If you do not face your fears, the stress related to them will not go away. In fact the fear is likely to grow inside you until you face that fear and have what is called a big breakthrough!

Here are some of the stresses you will feel as an entrepreneur;
1) Loneliness – If you are part of a tribe that does things a certain way then you may feel stress when you choose to do things differently. The trick here is to find a new tribe with people have a similar world view. I did not do this when I started and it was a BIG mistake!

2) Failure – When you start a business you will fail your way to success. I fail at things every day, but I now know that failure is the worlds best teacher and the only way to succeed at what you are creating. I always want to win, but I know that I only learn and improve when I fail. Fear of failure causes massive stress (Check I had that one also!)

3) Urgency – Typically entrepreneurs are very optimistic and plan similarly. However this can create a large sense of urgency which again leads to stress. As you will see below a simple mindset shift that stress is good for you changes the chemical reaction in your body and it become good for you!

4) Comparing Yourself with other people that are more successful than you is a known stressor. How we view this stress is important. Option 1) I wonder what I can learn from this person so I can get the same or better result? or 2) I´m a looser because I don´t have the same results.

5) Age – I´m to OLD! I´m to Young!!!? Both have benefits. The trick is focus on those.

To read more about what successful people do I read this article this week and really enjoyed it. Click Here

I´m currently working a lot on my Hardcore MBA training which will be a 3-4 day seminar where I´m going to train entrepreneurs in how they can master the game and become part of the 1-10% of people that succeed. I´m creating this program because of all the stress and struggle that I have gone through the past 8 years as an entrepreneur. My BIG WHY is that I want to dramatically improve the chance of an entrepreneur succeeding after they attend my course. So much of the pain I put myself under could have been avoided if I had attended the right course! Until the course goes live you can check out our podcast with the same name here.

Speaking Industry

Wonderful beautiful summer is here!
The other day I walked by Speakers Corner here in London and listened for a while in the rain.
Yes, I´m in London after all! Pah!

Why did I become a speaker/author entrepreneur?
Part of the word Authority comes the word Author.
If you want people to follow you or influence the world rather than being influenced, becoming and author speaker could be for you!

A lot of people think that they must have certain degrees, or qualifications to be an expert, but that not true.
You simply need to know more than the people listening to you.
Have you ever been to a seminar where the speaker is reminding you of things you already know?
You probably found it valuable anyway right?

If you want more traction in your industry then being a speaker/author is a great way to grow your business.

For instance I was recently interviewed on a podcast that reaches thousands of people. People listen for free and I educate them about our services at Mr.Outsource.com. FREE marketing to an audience that is perfect for my business! The deep dive into my book was on The Entrepreneurs Library with Wade Danielson. Click here to listen.

Why did I get interviewed? My team contacted them and asked them if they needed an expert on outsourcing on the show. They then set it up and put it in my calendar. You can do this also!
