The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It by Michael E. Gerber
Every single business in the world has systems that make it work well or badly. Build your business around great systems and you will be able to scale quicker and in a better way. The E-Myth is also an easy read. I read books whilst running my businesses and use them as part of my thought process in improving and developing how things are currently working.
You can read this before or after reading E-Myth. This book makes a good point of using the available flat world and the web in building your company to be effective.
