Today I have been an entrepreneur for 2938 days and it has been an exciting journey!
What I quickly discovered after starting out in 2007 was that I needed a very different kind of training and habits to become successful in business.

Starting a business pushes you outside your comfort zone and creates stress. The stress is a layer that comes on top of the stress that most western employees experience and can seriously threaten your life. I typically say that entrepreneurship is an extreme sport that goes on 24 hours, 365 days a year and needs to be treated as such.
To manage my stress after my epic London tube panic attack a few years ago I have tried the following practices;
- Qi Gong
- Frequent Exercise
- Guided meditation
- Those who meditate reduced the likelihood of being hospitalized for coronary disease by 87 percent, and the possibility of getting cancer by 55 percent.
- 75% of insomniacs who started a daily meditation program were able to fall asleep within 20 minutes of going to bed.
- 60% of anxiety prone people showed marked improvements in anxiety levels after 6-9 months.
- Heart rate, respiration, blood pressure and oxygen consumption are all decreased.
- Meditators are less anxious and nervous.
- Meditators were more independent and self-confident
- People who meditated daily were less fearful of death.
Do they work?
Yes! They all work. Now the question becomes what works best?
